There wasn’t that much new at this year’s Newfronts, the boozy Bazaar in which web video makers try to lure rich brand advertisers. This year some of the biggest players in years past, like Yahoo, didn’t show up. And others, like AOL, didn’t seem to have much to talk about. Still others, from Vice to the New York Times, keep trying. Steve spent all week sampling lots of vodka and some video clips. Through his hangover, we discuss why even as video viewing surges, the pros seem to have no idea what to produce.
